   I found this movie a delightful and enriching sequel that took me back to the lush islands of Oceania where adventure, growth and self-discovery continue to be at the heart of the story. This part 2 is released several years after the success of the first film. It honors the themes of family, culture and environmental stewardship while introducing new challenges and characters that enrich Moana’s world.

   Remarkable performance by Auli’i Cravalho who returns as Moana. She won my heart. She brought the character’s curiosity to life once again. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson reprises his role as Maui, and his comedic timing and charm add the perfect touch to their dynamic. The voice cast also introduces several new characters, like that of a wise and spirited elder who serves as Moana’s mentor and a team of adventurous companions who accompany her on the journey.

   Animation in the movie is stunning! The filmmakrs have enhanced the vibrant colors and fluid animations of the original, making the lush island landscapes and treacherous sea voyages even more breathtaking. The water, a central motif in the first film, continues to be beautifully animated, capturing the majesty and mystery of the ocean in ways that felt fresh to me.

   According to me, a must watch movie. Entertaining movie.
